La Groin Pain Syndrome (Pubalgia)

La “groin pain syndrome” rappresenta una delle patologie più discusse e meno comprese nell’ambito della medicina dello sport, nonostante rappresenti circa il 15% di tutti traumi sportivi. Sono stati individuati oltre 60 quadri clinici in grado di provocare GPS, per dare solo un’idea della complessità della diagnosi. Lo scopo del corso tenuto da Gian Nicola Bisciotti (M.Sc. Ph.D. Lead Physiologist Qatar Orthopedic and Sport Medicine Hospital, FIFA Center of Excellence, Doha, Head of Rehabilitation FC. Internazionale Milano), Francesco Di Marzo (MD Consultant, General Surgery Pontremoli Hospital), Alessio Auci (Medico Radiologo) e Gabriella Cassaghi (Dottoressa in Fisioterapia) è di presentare in modo sintetico, ma completo, i nuovi concetti teorici, di approfondire il ruolo dell’imaging e dalla chirurgia addominale e di sviluppare gli argomenti pratici legati al trattamento conservativo della GPS, al trattamento post-chirurgico e ai test di Return to Play.
